Hi All!
Yep, I'm at it again. And just look at these cute faces. I'd like to introduce you to the 2017 Indianapolis Boy and Girl of the Year. Just one of the many reasons why we continue to do what we do!
Megan, now 10, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on March 15, 2015. She has undergone chemotherapy since diagnosis and has been in treatment for a year and a half. Megan has had a total of sixteen spinal taps and has three or four more to go. Megan is currently in remission and is in the maintenance phase of her treatment. A fun fact about Megan is that her very first concert was One Direction! When she’s not listening to music, she enjoys playing with her beagle named Dexter or watching her favorite movie, Minions. Megan is in 5th grade and attends elementary school in Noblesville.
Drake, now five, was diagnosed with VHR leukemia on April 1, 2015. He underwent over fifteen spinal taps and lumbar punctures and will continue to take chemo daily through July of 2018. Drake is currently undergoing treatment and can take up to a dozen pills in just one day. Drake loves to eat Mexican food, especially from Luciana’s. He is a big fan of superheroes and his favorite is Spider Man. In fact, if he could meet any famous person it would be the Incredible Hulk because he’s so strong! Drake’s favorite vacation was his family trip to Disney World. Drake attends junior kindergarten in Indianapolis.

WELCOME TO MY TEAM IN TRAINING (TNT) HOME PAGE!
It takes more than one person to make up a team and that’s why I’m asking you to donate to my TNT fundraising page for TNT!
By participating as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) TNT, I am raising funds to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
Your donation will help fund treatments that save lives every day; like immunotherapies that use a person’s own immune system to kill cancer. You may not know it, but every single donation helps save a life with breakthrough therapies such as these.
Patients need these cures and they need your support.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help get us all closer to a world without blood cancers.
Thank you!
