Welcome to my Team In Training journey.

In March of 2013, my mom Judy Ferris lost her year-long, hard-fought battle with B-cell lymphoma.  I miss her every day and wish very much that she was still here to see our boys grow up.  I take comfort in knowing that she is watching us from above.

In memory of my mom, I have a two-fold mission...to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers and get myself in better shape along the way. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in the Elkhart Lake (WI) Triathlon on June 7, 2014 (http://www.elkhartlakemultisports.com/) as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving my quality of life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
