Did you know that every 4 minutes one person is diagnosed with a blood cancer? By the time you finish reading our webpage and decide whether or not you can donate, one more person will be affected with a blood related CANCER.

This year, my wife Ana and I will be running the Nike Women's Marathon on October 14th together as Team Pay it Forward! Our goal is to train, fundraise and complete the race together! Actually we will run the first 13.1 miles together, and then I will run the next 13.1 miles alone and she will meet me at the finish!

Along the way we hope to raise as much $ as possible for Cancer research!!

Every time we have decided to run a Marathon, we have had a reason to continue fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Whether it was a personal connection or someone else's family member or friend.

The number of people affected by cancer continues to increase, and the least we can do is raise some $ and run a few miles to show our support!!

One thing we learned early on in our training was that the research done by the LLS, not only benefits blood related cancers such as leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, myeloma, but all types of cancer as well.
