WELCOME TO MY TEAM IN TRAINING (TNT) HOME PAGE! TEAM HALEY!

Hi Friends,

I have joined Team Haley and will be raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program.  I will be running a half marathon on October 1, 2016 in Leaveworth, WA.  I am asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Why am I doing this you ask?

Well, for those of you who don't know, my sweet ten year old niece, Haley, was diagnosed in May of last year with High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  As you can imagine this came as a complete shock to our family.

Haley is truly the strongest, toughest child I know. This last year has been filled with hopital stays, needles, surgeries, sickness and a whole lot of pills! Although this run will be hard for me it is nothing in comparison to what Miss Haley has had to endure. I have spent the last year hoping and praying that God would cure our Haley Amber!

Haley is now in the maintenance phase of treatment which consists of oral chemo daily for two years along with chemo at the clinic once monthly for two years. Haley told the TNT last season: “Even though I have this, it’s a lot easier when I know I have people cheering for me and praying for me.”

Haley is super motivated to raise $100,000  to help find a cure for Leukemia so that other kids don't have to go through what she is living through. If she hits the $100k mark LLS will name a research grant in her honor. My personal goal is to raise $5K of that total. I know we can do this!!

Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Nearly 958,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. I am hoping that my participation in Team In Training will help bring them hope and support. On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support.
