As many of you know, my mother, Vivian Larese lost her battle with Leukemia May 18, 2013. In her memory and honor I’ve joined up with Team in Training to ride 100 miles in the Sierra Nevada Mountains on June 7th to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. These funds go directly toward research to help to find a cure. Over the last 5 years I have seen incredible strides in treatment options and potential ways to cure someone.
A few years ago my mom knowing that I started getting into riding shared with me a couple of photographs that her long time friend sent her. The pictures were of her father, Vincent who was an avid bike rider/racer with USI, an Italian cycle club in NY that still exist today. She was so proud of me that I was continuing her father’s legacy. After each of the many local riding event I participated in, I could not wait to call her and share all the details of that ride. It made her happy!
These 100 miles are for you Mom…

Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
