Today is for sketching running shoes and making thank you cards
for the awesome people who have donated to my Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fundraiser!
Thank you!!
Thank you to everyone who has supported my Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Half Marathon fundraiser!
Super exciting, this is a big deal, and the whole thing will be on TV
and easy to follow on the NYC Half Marathon app
I’m so excited to be part and run from Prospect Park over the Manhattan Bridge Roadway and up the FDR through Manhattan to Central Park!
Two weeks from today I’ll be running the NYC Half Marathon!
I’m running as a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
I was inspired to sign up for the NYC Half after last years race went by my brother’s house. It seemed like great way to channel my grief into something productive.
It’s been fun training even with the weather challenges.
Today was the last long training run before the event, just over 10 miles!
Please consider a donation to help me reach my goal of raising $1,000 to fund LLS's mission.
Thank you!!
I’ll be running the 2019 NYC Half Marathon on Sunday, March 17 with Team in Training to raise money for LLS, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
My brother Pavel is my inspiration for this project. After he died in August 2017, from complications of esophageal cancer, his friends and I organized an annual 5k event in his memory. The first edition of the LES Revel Run 5K, last October, was a big success. While working on it, I got the idea to participate in the NYC Half and fundraise as an homage to Pavel, a way to channel my grief into something productive.
I choose the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because my father, who we lost this last August, had survived Lymphoma in 1992 and I have long been aware of the toll and cost of cancer. The therapies funded by LLS have transcended blood cancers and now help those afflicted by many types of cancer. I want to help advance treatment and find a cure!
Please consider a donation to help me reach my goal of raising $1,000 to fund LLS's mission.
It was 20 degrees this AM and fine once we were moving!
A big thank you to everyone who has already generously donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through my Team in Training NYC Half fundraiser.
It’s exciting and mind boggling what happens on the research front.
This short film about progress in immunotherapy made me cry.
I’m proud to get involved, it’s great to make a difference together!!
Thank you!
