This year marks an incredible anniversary for myself....25 years cancer free from my second round of Hodgkins Lymphoma! In 1990 I was diagnosed with Stage 2...the cancer was in my neck and behind my breastbone. I was given radiation and chemotherapy, at the end receiving a clean bill of health. In 1994, it came back in the same area and also my abdomen. This time was the beginning of Stage 4. It was too far advanced to receive only radiation...so chemo it was. I received yet again a good bill of health. Low and behold, 25 years later I am still cancer free!! I feel it is my duty, (and I love it!), to raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help patients, to help more of my brothers and sisters make it through this crazy disease!

At 15 years I ran a marathon in Kiawah island, SC and at 20 years I did a century ride in Lake Tahoe raising money for LLS. This years event is hiking to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa.

WELCOME TO MY TEAM IN TRAINING (TNT) HOME PAGE!

 

It takes more than one person to make up a team and that’s why I’m asking you to donate to my TNT fundraising page for TNT!

 

By participating as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) TNT, I am raising funds to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

 

Your donation will help fund treatments that save lives every day; like immunotherapies that use a person’s own immune system to kill cancer. You may not know it, but every single donation helps save a life with breakthrough therapies such as these.

 

Patients need these cures and they need your support.
