Welcome to my Team In Training home page...I am going to do it AGAIN!!!I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling cancer of any type.
As many of you know, I am a cancer survivor and, although it was not a cancer of the blood, I chose to "give back" by committing to run for Team In Training! This is my priority and it has been over 3 years since we (Judy, Jordan and I) completed the San Diego 1/2 marathon. We raised OVER $17,000.00 because of your generosity.
With your donation--OF ANY SIZE--and the motivation to help (and now my oldest daugher nagging her Dad to do it!) WE CAN DO OUR PART TO BATTLE THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE! I plan on participating in the Savannah 1/2 Marathon on November 5, 2011. I can train all I want but I cannot participate if I do not reach my goal of $3,500+!
