Racing to Save Lives - Marine Corps Marathon!

Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I'm training to participate in an endurance event, the Marine Corps Marathon, as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. That's right, I'm training to run a FULL marathon (26.2 miles)!!!

I can't believe that the Marathon is only 6 WEEKS AWAY!!!! I am so excited for it, I can't wait! I ran in the Ikea Half Marathon last weekend and it was awesome!!! I finished it in 2 hours and 13 minutes!!!! That was about 15 minutes faster than I hoped for!

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
