Racing to Save Lives

Last October my niece AnnaLynn Surace was diagnosed with Leukemia. She has endured many things with her course of treatment. .Many days of hospitalization, chemotherapy and hours of recovery. Her strength amazes me. This has influenced me and encouraged me to "do the right thing" as my brother says.

I have entered into the race against cancer.


I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. Especially AnnaLynn and in memory of my uncle Frank,he tohad Leukemia. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
