FIRST HALF MARATHON COMPLETED!!!!

SO.......I have successfully completed the "DISNEY HALF MARATHON"

Truly this has been an terrific experience. !!!!

I , and my team , TEAM ANNALYNN have raised $47,000 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!!!!!!!!

We tried everything imaginable to raise money. We sold beads at football and hockey games. Candy bars at games, Galleria Mall and offices. Raffle tickets alll over Western NY. Yankee Candles. Wheel of fortune at a terrific wine tasting event , held at Spring Lake. A Ladies Night, hosted at Danny Sheehan's Restaurant, with fabulous food and awesome basket raffle. A holiday celebration at Shea's Performing Arts Theater, Cirque Holidaze. Beautiful event.!!! Selling singlets at local establishments Scapeletti's and Millersport Market. Our collections canisters - Groff 's Tavern and Niagara County Credit Union . Football tournament by Cornell University , Psi Chi Faternity . Dress down days at Emmett Bellknap, Lockport High School, Desales Catholic School and Gaines Kriner Elliott LLP. Spagetti DInner and Dance hosted by Emmett Bellknapp Junior High. Rob Lederman Comedy nite with a basket raffle....Even a bake sale at Uniland Bldg..To name a few things .....and all this in 18 weeks!!!!

We have been Busy !! And successful!!!

A very deep, sincere Thank You to everyone whom has helped on the way. We have touched many people and they too have touched me and my family. We are so thankful to have friends and family close to our hearts.

As many of you know, AnnaLynn is back in the hospital. Her Leukemia has returned. The day after the race , on a follow up visit with her doctor, she was informed that things have changed and she would require further treatment....Meaning more chemo and a Bone Marrow Transplant....A lengthy hospital stay.

She has been extremely strong and positive throughout everything. She has started this new journey with a positive mind , She will beat this cancer.

We raised alot of money for Leukemia and Lympohoma Society, a tremendous feat. But even more so is if research helps and brings a cure to this awful disease. With our help, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will have funding to continue its research..
