Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of my sister AnnaLynn and all other individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the

ultimate finish line - a cure!

I have decided to take on the challenge of a half marathon, to show my love and support for my sister. a Everytime I run, especially on the day of the race; I'll be thinking about how much she is going through, and how much all other patients are going through. These patients need an incredible amout of support, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society offers this to them. I hope that you will agree that this is a great cause, and will help me support it. Any donation big , small or otherwise, is greatly appreciated!!

Money donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is critical to patients in their search for both a cure and support. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society focuses on giving this support to its patients while faithfully supporting research aimed at eliminating blood cancers. It is important to know that 40% of your donation goes directly to critically important research; another 40% goes directly to patients, through information, support sessions, and financial aid programs. The other 20% is used for public health education and awareness. I urge you to sit back and think about this, 40 cents of your dollar will go to research, that will have a HUGE impact on the future, and another 40 cents will go directly to a patient, it will help them get through this and help them survive!

An estimated 894,543 American are living with leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The funds, awareness, and research grants sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society have helped raise the 5 year survival from a grisly 14 percent in 1960 to an inspiring 51 percent in 2004.
