YOUR HELP
Hello again to all my supportive friends, family members and WKBW viewers!
Thanks for visiting my all new LLS fundraising website.
It's important to remember, every little bit helps! So whatever you can donate is greatly appreciated.
With your help, we're going to get to the $3,800 mark by marathon day: January 10th, 2010.
After an injury sidelined my LLS run in San Francisco (walked the half b/c of a crack in my shin bone), I *will complete 26.2 miles - - running the full Disney Marathon in Orlando.
My efforts are in honor of all those, who are battling blood cancers. They need our support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
Those of you who know me - - know I love being active - - so being active with a goal for a great cause is a no brainer.
THE CAUSE
Raising money for research, help for patients, education and community services tied to leukemia - - with the ultimate goal of finding a cure for leukemia and its related cancers.
In short, leukemia is a cancer of blood forming tissues.
Nearly 835,000 Americans have blood cancers. And every 10 minutes, someone dies from a blood cancer.
TEAM IN TRAINING
Working with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as an official Team In Training member, is an amazing opportunity.
While helping to raise money for this worthy cause, I'm also working directly with the Western New York & Finger Lakes Chapter of TNT, to train for the Disney Marathon, to ensure a strong and healthy finish, that's representative of LLS.
Please help me, help make a difference, for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Visit my web site often to see our fundraising progress.
Thank you, thank you thank you ... for your support!
