She turns 40 in August and isn't satisfied celebrating by drinking wine and eating cake like everyone else (although expect that she will do that). She must challenge herself and her body. What can she do at 40?

Hello everyone,

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. My Team in Training members and I are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Many of you may remember that I raised funds for LLS a few years back by training and completing the century ride in Lake Tahoe. In case you missed it, or don't remember, the pictures and the story are viewable at my personal website www.pwhoffmann.com.

You may make a donation online through this website. You may also send money (checks/cash) directly to me. If you want to have a bit more fun, you may schedule a tarot card reading party. I will entertain your friends in your home (or wherever) for a fee. Tax-deductible tarot card readings - what fun!

Also, remember that my sister and I own a natural body care company (www.wildmountainorganics.com). Purchase any of our products (call or email rather than ordering online so that it will be credited to Team in Training) and 50% of the sale price will be donated to LLS.
