Actually, there is something we can do about Cancer.
We've all been touched by the horrors of Cancer. Some harder than others. Some more recently. Some more personally. And if you're like me, you can feel helpless. You're not.
I am participating in "Americas Most Beautiful Ride." a 100-mile cycling challenge around Lake Tahoe to beat cancer. This year we will raise more than $8.5 million to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and families. Please help.
I'll do the riding. Which I admit I love. But I need your support to reach my personal goal of $5,000.

I will be cycling in honor of local Rochester resident, Tony DiGaetano. In July of 2003, Tony was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, had a stem cell transplant and is still undergoing treatment. Interestingly, one of his recent life-saving treatments was possible because of LLS financial support. Tony, an avid cyclist himself, is married and has 3 grown children. He also enjoys golfing (although it is difficult for him to play at the present time) and playing his bass guitar.
Knowing that I am supporting the future of good people like Tony is a huge motivating factor for me. Hopefully it is also huge motivator for you to make a financial contribution to LSS.
