I will run. Please give. The fundraising clock is ticking... the race is coming up and I need your help. I have run just under 1500 miles this year, I am still going and need you to help keep LLS funded to help blood cancer patients. While I want you to continue to follow my progress, please make sure we are focused on why this is important. Children continue to suffer from blood cancer. They are my motivation. Let's help out. I run, you donate...sounds easy right? Well it is, please read on. I am running the 2009 PF Changs RNR Marathon January 18th, 2009. I want to qualify for the 2009 Boston Marathon. To do that I have to finish in under 3:10:59. Not an easy task. However, I have wings this year, the hope of finding a cure for blood cancer will lift me. Knowing that I am helping families with parents or children suffering from blood cancers will lift me. I will have more help than I know what to do with. That is where you come in! There are TOO MANY sick kids out there. I would rather have no extra wings and have to crawl to the finish, than to know these kids are dying of blood cancers. Glory Gench, Trevor Kott, and thier families will get me through this training and the race. My task is to help their families and others in pain, get through thier race. I need $.20 per mile. If 100 people give JUST $25, we can meet and beat this goal!!! Please donate, please come back and check on me. You can also view my training log (here) or read updates about mytraining (here). Thank YOU!!! I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support! |
