Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

What a great time to catch up: I've raised my first $1,000! Now comes the tough part: doing it two more times. Kind of like jumping out of the water after a mile swim, only to get started on a 30-mile bike ride!

The summer is here and training is well underway for the Chicago Triathlon on August 29th! This third year with Team in Training will be particularly monumental for me, because I'll complete the Team in Training "Triple Crown": a marathon, a century bike ride, and an olympic triathlon! Why do I keep doing this? Simple: Team in Training changes lives.

I joined TNT three years ago looking for a supportive group to help me train to run my first half-marathon. Along the way, I have encountered one meaningful experience after another: patients living longer and healther lives because of the research and support that TNT funds, and participants living fuller lives for the empowerment and joy that crossing the finish line brings. It's a privilege to be a volunteer participant with Team in Training. I'm also a leader with the group - as a mentor, I help participants raise money and support their training. I've kept my money where my mouth is by doing my own fund raising annually as well, and that's why I'm asking for your support. I thank you for supporting the good and significant work that we are doing.

I participate in honor of all individuals who are battling cancer. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
