Riding to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page! This year, I am once again participating in America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride to raise funds for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
People often ask why I do this, especially since no one in my family has been affected by blood cancer...that's exactly why I do it, I am a very blessed person, I'm healthy, my kids are healthy and I am fortunate enough to be ABLE to do this (although my team mates will tell you I whine when I hit the hills and wind :) ). Being part of this event has introduced me to many people that wish they could ride with us, but physically can't...NOT YET anyway...hopefully someday soon that will change for them...please help make that day come sooner rather than later.
Bill Moynihan (a co-worker who was recently diagnosed with a form of blood cancer) said " I'm contributing back to the well of hope, health and happiness"....I'll do the hard part and ride the 100 miles...I hope you join me for the "ride" by making a donation that contributes to the "well"

Please join us on Friday, April 30th @ Capital Brewery for our 1st Annual Bachelor Auction 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm!!! $20 if you pre-purchase a ticket, $25 at the door! Appetizers, Free beer and a free ticket to enter in our prize drawing! Food, Beer, Music and FUN all for a great cause!!!!!!!
