I am proud to say that I reached the fund raising minimum of $2600.00. But cancer will not stop just because I did the minimum. So I am setting a personal goal of raising $4000.00 for the LLS. Thank you for considering a donation to this worthy cause. Go TEAM!!

On labor day weekend we held a three day yard sale. Special thanks to my friends and neighbors who donated items to sell and tables to sell them on, especially Noreen who donated a tremendous amoutn of stuff. In total we made $855.63 from the sale. Saturday was our big day and nicest weather. We survived a freak wind storm which caused some damage and finished before the rain came. So success all around.

Running is going great. Team has me on track for a 4 mile long run this weekend but I can already do 7 miles comfortably. Please pray for my hamstrings. The seem to be tightening and acheing more than I have in the past.

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
