Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page! This is probably one of the craziest (and scariest) things I've ever done, but it's for such a great cause. My father, grandfather and uncle passed away due to blood cancers. I want to do something so hopefully my son doesn't have to worry about blood cancers.
So, I'm training to participate in the Westchester Triathlon (swim 9/10 mile, bike 25 miles and run 6.2 miles) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event to honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and commemorate those who were taken too soon by these diseases. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
