We've been working hard all summer to meet this goal, and we are SO close to reaching it. THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this campaign. The families and individuals impacted by cancer might not ever know who you are, but your efforts to help stop cancer will always be appreciated more than you know!
Once upon a time, I was a rower at UW.
Now, two(ish) years later, I'm a rower again, but for a different cause entirely.
This year, I've joined a Team In Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in pursuit of two major goals: improving my own health and lifestyle, and supporting an organization dedicated to researching cures for blood cancer.
Most of you know I love Camp Kesem (and am also fundrasing for that too), but in a perfect world, there would be no need for Camp Kesem, because no kid would have a parent with cancer.
To be a part of this team is more than just making friends and getting competitive, (even though that part is great): it's about health.
Mine, immediately, but in the longterm? Everyone's.
But we all know that I can't raise this money on my own. Join me in this journey by donating what you can - maybe just a few dollars or a whole lot of them - but even just one can make a difference.
