Racing to Save Lives

Pre-sript: I was hoping that I would raise the $2900 by May 2010. Here is it Oct 2009 and I've met that goal and passed it. Better yet, I have an long time friend whose foundation will match up to $5000! So now my new goal is $5000. THANK YOU! and please pass the word. Blood cancer touches millions of people a year--even you.

I'm racing to save my life!

I'm racing to live my life!

I'm racing for six children!

I'm racing for one husband!

I'm racing so that I can see those six children grow up, go to college, get married, go on missions and have precious children--my grand babies! I'm racing so I can see them, hold them and tell them I love them--ALL of them.

I'm racing for MY LIFE!

See I have Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) and it just might kill me, but not before I give it my all! I'm in a race to save MY life.

I'm going to race in the BMO Vancouver International half marathon on May 2, 2010, and I have pledged $2900. Please help me out. All the money goes to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)--I don't keep a dime! I don't want a dime! I want a cure and if I can't have a cure then I want great medicine and procedures for every one who has to hear the words, "You have cancer." I know first hand how devastating those words sound because I heard them on August 27, 2009, and they completely changed my life.

I have to race 13.1 miles (that's a half marathon) and I'm just asking you to help me raise $2900 $13 at a time. Help me! PLEASE! Instead of spending $13 on lunch today, why not help me make it to the finish line! I'll do the running every dark, wet and cold morning. You just click on the "Donate Now" button and show your support. I need your support to cross the finish line--the ultimate finish line--a cure!

A lot of TNT team member are running in honor of someone they know who has or is battle a blood cancer. I'm running in honor of Kray, Jason, Mike, Matt, Chris, Jessie & Steve! They don't have cancer but I do. I'm running because I honor my family. HELP ME!

I can't wait to put the word "survivor" on the back of my purple shirt! Help me, PLEASE!
