April 28 Update ~

For everyone that has ever been to my page or is here now, Thank you. A most grateful thank you for your suppoort and for your interest. Having so many people care enough to donate over $2,000 at this point is wonderful motivation for me. The more money is raised the more I have witnessed how many people are benefitting from these contributions. It is for them that I thank you.

I have met wonderful individuals - from a third grader to a grandmother - who are working their way through leukemia, through Hodgkins, through blood cancers - and I have heard stories of those who aren't here to tell their own story. I just know that every dollar counts. And I thank you.

I came here simply to run. But this is so much more. Please help with that last $1,500 or so to reach an awesome goal for people that are loved (as each of us are). I am more than ever looking forward to running on their behalf.

Racing to Save Lives

Yes, It's true! I'm in training for a half marathon. I'll be running 13.1 miles. Don't forget the point one. This is taking a little work and a little cash to accomplish, same as curing cancers. I'm putting in the work, please help me out by putting in a little cash.

And...I'm adding COOKIES to the mix. For support at the $50 level and above I will send two dozen homemade ginger-snap cookies to the address of your choice as my Thank You for helping me help LLS. Be sure to leave your e-mail address so I can contact you for the address to ship two dozen cookies.

At the $100 level I am upping the stakes and adding chocolate biscotti, the jaw breaker of cookie that melts in your mouth when dipped into ccoffee, tea or hot chocolate. At the $100 and above level I will bake up and send a coffee tin worth of this delicious cookie to the address of your choice.

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
