Two more days until race day. I am running for my Granpda Dale, my great aunt Wilma, my good friend Jim who insprired me to start running (LYH), and most of all, for the thousands of people living with blood cancers- because we will find a cure!

I'm training with TNT to participate in the Seattle Rock n'Roll Marathon and raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I can't say that I've always wanted to run a marathon, but I have always wanted to make a difference for others.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, but I have a special connection to the disease. My grandfather has CLL- a type of leukemia. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission to cure blood cancers and provide education and support to those battling the disease.
