Pacific Crest Triathlon - Swim 1.5k, Bike 28 mi, Run 10K

Hi!


I'm training for the Pacific Crest Triathlon on June 26th in Sun River, OR. In exchange for coaching and great team camaraderie I've pledged to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS).


This is my second triathlon. I trained with the LLS Team in Training last year as a 57-year-old novice triathlete. My dedicated teammates and the amazing coaches pulled me through to the end and I finished a very happy, healthy person. It was a life-changing experience for all of us.


My inspiration and mentor, my mother-in-law Margaret McNeel, died last year from non-Hodgkins's lymphoma. LLS funds the research to keep leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives such as Margaret's.


My personal goal is to raise a minimum of $3000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Over 75% of every dollar goes directly to fund research and patient services.
