This is my Uncle Dave. Besides being my uncle, he's also a husband, son, brother, dad, and grandpa. He's a photographer and an artist, and one of the first people to inspire the artist in me as I sketched and painted (rather badly) at my grandpa's lake house where our family vacationed some summers. He has the greatest laugh and the greatest heart...

...He also has Stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma. I train for him. On March 24th I'll be swimming, biking, and running my heart out. The training will be tough, but no where near as tough as the battle against cancer. I have the greatest respect for those who have to fight and still smile like this. I love you, Uncle Dave!
