It always been my desire to do good things, so I was very excited to learn of the opportunity to combine the two things I am most passionate about - physical activity and supporting charitable causes!

If you asked every person you know, if they have known someone who was diagnosed with cancer, my guess would be that you would be hard pressed to find someone who answered "No". Personally, I have known too many; Family, friends, and neighbors. This disease knows no boundaries; it does not care about race, religion, status or age. For as little as a dollar, you can help fund research, be a part of the solution, and help find a cure.

It was Heather who told me about this awesome opportunity, and I could not be happier that we have decided to make it our journey to train for the Inagural Tinkerbell Half Marathon with TNT. Being able to raise money for such a worthy cause, made it so much more important!

Heather & I have joined TNT, and we are going to Disneyland!

We are now on a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, we are participating in the Disney Tinkerbell Half Marathon as members of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

With your help, we can make sure that future leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma survivors can live to celebrate their future birthdays and even get to run a Disney race too! :)
