Abby Bunkley and I would like to thank everyone who contributed to our fundraiser and made Wiggin' Out For A Cure such a SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!! Words cannot express how much your love and support means to us. Not only did we get to dress up in amazing wigs and have an awesome time with friends, family and loved ones, but it was your caring hearts and generosity that helped us surpass our goal by THOUSANDS of dollars!!

We (Abby and Courtney) have joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training and have registered to run in the Rock 'n' Roll San Diego 1/2 Marathon on June 2, 2013, in a mission to fight blood cancers. Words cannot describe how excited we are to be a part of this adventure!

This organization is very important to the both of us because in November 2011, Abby was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After 6 rounds of chemotherapy (R-CHOP) and 21 rounds of radiation, on July 3, 2012, we found out that Abby is in remission!!!! She received her miracle and now we want to help someone else get theirs!

Over the next few months we will be training with our coaches to prepare us for this race. In addition to this we will be raising funds to help find cures and more effective treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. With your help and support, we will be able to say we successfully ran a 13.1-mile marathon, while also aiding The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
