Racing to Save Lives
Welcome
to my Team In Training home page.
As part of the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans, I'm training to
participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. Our team currently has 15 members, with a total fundraising goal of $46,000. WOW! Can you imagine all the good that money will do in furthering research and offering patient services?
All of us on Team Shrinking Jeans are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am personcally completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, but more importantly, I'm running in memory of Allison Leigh Scott, and to honor my Paw Paw, James Ries, who is a CML survivor. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
