Here I go again. This time out I'm heading to Washington, D.C. This will be my 8th season with Team In Training. Why do I do it, because so many beautiful people are suffering because of blood cancers. Just look at the photos of just a few of my heroes that inspire me to keep going. I want to see all of these kids grow up to live long, happy lives. I want moms to see their kids graduate from school. I want dads to be able to walk their baby girl down the wedding aisle. I want a cure to blood cancer. You can help further research, patient and family services by donating today and be an Everyday Superhero. Thank you!
1/30/13 - Super Bowl Pool ongoing! Friday, Feb. 1st is last day to buy your square(s). Visit my website at:

for complete contest rules. If you still have questions, just send me an email at: jolea.hearn@yahoo.com. Thanks everyone. Together lets get cancer out of the game!
1/30/13 - Training is officially underway. Usually I do a run/walk method, but I'm going to actually try and run the entire way this time. I'm only up to 5 miles so far running with no walking, but that's a good start and we have a ways to go. One day I hope to tell you that Team In Training is closing it's doors because a cure for blood cancer has been found, but unfortunately, today is not that day. So, keep those donations coming in!! I appreciate every penny and 100% of your donation will be going straight to the mission as I will be paying that quarter of the fundraising minimum that typically goes to pay for adminstration costs, travel, etc.
12/27/12 - So hope everyone had a great Christmas! The new year is almost here. If you are looking for a great charitable tax deduction, I'm talking 100% tax deductible, please donate today!
And, if you have anything you'd like to tell the President of the United States, send me your letter and donation and I'll personally deliver it to the White House in April when I go there to run for TNT in the Nike Women's Half Marathon!
Get those donations and letters to me!
Happy New Year Everyone!
Jo Lea
