My Fundraising Page

My nephew, Sam, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. He is an amazing young man who has inspired everyone he knows with his strength and determination in battling this cancer! I'm thrilled that he is now in remission but his battle is not over yet.

My daughter-in-law, Jenny, and I are running the Nike Women's 1/2 Marathon in October to raise money and awareness for all those affected by blood cancers. I'll be running in honor of Sam and in memory of my dad and uncle, both of whom also had leukemia. Please join me in the fight to cure blood cancers!


Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.


Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients, like Sam and their families as well.
