YES! I am training to participate in the Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco on Sunday, October 17 as a proud member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. My sisters and I have formed TEAM NANCY which includes sisters Deb, Kathy, Pam, Tam and Tray (and me) with cheerleading provided by; our amazing mother, Joyce (head cheerleader & honorary coach), brothers Dan, Tim. and all our loving families, along with a huge pool of friends. We are SIX SISTERS STRIDING FOR A CURE! All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in memory of my beautiful sister Nancy who lost her fight on June 22, 2009 and in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
