Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.
Welcome to my Team In Training home page. Please read on for details on this effort...
Inaugural Ironman Lake Tahoe Triathlon
September 19-22, 2013
with James Lawrence – Ironman World Record Holder
James completed 30 Ironman’s in 2012, breaking the old record of 20, and is competing in Lake Tahoe’s first ever Ironman Competition.
The purpose of James’ appearance is to raise funds and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through Team In Training. Your donation will help in this important work of Team In Training, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
.
Meet Christian Quest - Tri-Athlete Leukemia Survivor
The IRONMAN Foundation is proud to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Team in Training, to assist their efforts in this great cause to someday overcome leukemia and lymphoma. By supporting James Lawrence’s appearance at this premier event, you will be increasing the long term awareness of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s efforts and goals as well as benefitting people like Christian Quest, a husband, father, and Tri-Athlete who was diagnosed with leukemia in December, 2012. Christian is a role model for any person dealing with this disease. His positive attitude and determination to not give in, led him to train and condition which allowed him to compete in a recent triathlon less than four months after his original diagnosis. Christian is a beneficiary of a $500 grant from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to cover his drug expense. Your support of this effort will make grants like this possible!
Christian and his mother, Barbara Cox, ask you to consider making a contribution to support James Lawrence and Team in Training on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Your dollars are more meaningful as a supporter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Team In Training. As the world’s largest endurance sports training program, and the most successful fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, over $1.2 billion has been raised for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All supporters have an opportunity to change the lives of more than 1 million people currently living with a blood cancer.
Along with your tax deductible donation is an invitation to meet James Lawrence and hear about how he set this super human world record. There will be appetizers served at The Hyatt, Lone Eagle Grille, Incline Village, NV, Thursday evening, September 19, 2013, 6 PM - 9 PM.
