8/9/10 - 2 months left
On Friday I will be heading to visit my dad in Wichita and will be doing my longest run to date, 16 miles. After adding a mile every week I took a step down this past weekend and only did 10 miles to give my body a rest. Looking forward to the trip and only $1,372 left to raise!
5/24 - First Training Run
I had my first training run yesterday with the team and it was an easy 3.2 miles. I have placed myself in the advanced runners section and all seems to be going well so far. I will make sure to update this as the season goes on and am very excited to keep running!

I'm training to participate in the Chicago Marathon on 10/10/10 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
