Introducing Team "Stupid Cancer!!"

In October of 2017, an aggressive cancer called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia stole our Jey away far too soon. He had such a colorful life of adventure that he loved to share with his friends!! He fought hard for over a year with everything he had and endured an experience that nightmares are made of.  Just because he is gone does not mean the war is over. Too many people are still suffering from the horror that is blood cancer, and they need our help!

In honor of Jey and young adults battling blood cancer, Team "Stupid Cancer" is raising money for the Leaukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) by heading to Utah in June and Hiking for a Cure! I have pledged to raise $5,400 for LLS and need YOUR help. I'm nervous about hiking to Zion and about the commitment, but I know it would make Jey so proud. LETS STOP CANCER FROM STEALING MORE PRECIOUS LIVES!

"Jey was an amazing man and my son's first and best friend when he moved to Salem, VA. Kristan was by his side every step of the way and is one of the best women I know. Jey was treated at Blue Ridge Cancer Care in Roanoke, one of my customers in my role of Route Rep. with Quest. BRCC is helping with Kristan's fund drive. So many people in Salem supported Jey and Kristan with fund raisers, donated donor gifts, love and prayers. I've begun platelet donations again in memory of Jey. I hope my company can help Kristan keep the faith that not every love story has a sad ending."
