Tri-ing for a Cause


Welcome back to my Team in Training page!


I am so excited to merge two of my passions: fighting cancer and training for triathlons. On June 27th, I'll take part in a wonderful local sprint triathlon in Richmond to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I will once again be raising money to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.


I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling cancer. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

UPDATE: February 26, 2010

Mentoring the Lake Tahoe cycle team while training for my own event (In addition to work, of course) is keeping me hopping. But, I've decided that I still have lots of fundraising time. So, I'm taking the plunge and trying to raise $2,500 for my event. Check my page frequently to see how I'm doing. And please - spread the word!
