Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page. Kaye Kriz (the TALL one, and I are pictured here, just setting off for a practice ride two yrs. ago at Lake Tahoe. I will always remember her smile, her zest for life, her encouraging spirit, and her fight with myeloma. It NEVER defined her, but it did take her life. Within a week of losing Kaye, I learned that a dear colleague and friend was diagnosed with stage 4, type B lymphoma. I visited her in Louisville, KY in July, and she is well into 8 rounds of designer chemo coctails to treat her disease.
