WE really are having fun with the scope events. The people we work with are so great. I am so glad Skip and I have decided to this together. We get really exhausted wit training, work our job and fundraising.. seems like we are always going...but we are always going for a great cause...because they can't.

Team In Training (TNT), The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) leading endurance sports charity training program, has reached a remarkable milestone of raising over $1 billon to support blood cancer research and patient services. Since its inception in 1988, when a team of 38 runners trained together for the New York City Marathon and raised $320,000, TNT has prepared more than 440,000 people—approximately 40,000 participants annually— to achieve their dream of completing a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, 100-mile (century) bicycle ride or hike adventure. The enormous success of this program has helped make possible advances in blood cancer therapies and treatments that have prolonged and enhanced the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients

OK, So we did the IHOP fundraiser. You know the one...The free shortstack of pancakes with your kind donations...WE had so much fun doing it. Met some awesome people. We met former TNT alumni, we met survivors and her thier story's. The one young man was very touching he had chilhood leukemia and he said I used to have leukemia. He was very happy to come and celebrate with Ihop on thier drive and we were so glad we met him. Really makes us want to keep doing more.

I wish I could make all of you understand how your little $5.00 or $2.50 makes a difference.

Went on a long run/ walk yesterday through first landing state park. Did a total of 4 miles. The day felt cold as we started at 7:30 am. We quickly became very warm as we started ito our run. It is beautiful there in the park. When we finished we actually walked back into the park to meet up with my sister in law Kim. What a great surprse. It is nice that even if someone can not finacially support you they can support you in different ways. She will meet us on Wednesday for a ride and on Saturdays join us in our group run/walks. We are very blessed.
