Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in the Rock n Roll series Country Music Marathon as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

I am running for my dad who has been fighting non-Hodgkins lymphoma for about 10 years. I first learned about TNT in Savannah while preparing for my first marathon last November. I immediately recognized the merit in the organization and knew it would be a great way to support my dad.

The Country Music Marathon is April 28th. Up until then I will be following an intermediate-level training program including runs at least 4 days a week with Saturdays (typically) being my "long run" day. I will progressively build up to 20-mile runs before taking on 26.2 in Nashville. My training is now peaked at 20 miles.
