Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All

of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia,

lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am

completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling

blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we

need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In

Training and help advance LLS's mission.

I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back

frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!

"Leukemia/lymphoma can happen to anyone...we found that out four weeks ago when our 20-year old son, Kevin, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. Our gratitude goes to Maureen who will undertake this huge physical challenge to help make a difference in the lives of those affected with leukemia and lymphoma. And what is so amazing is that Maureen had signed up to run this marathon BEFORE Kevin was diagnosed. Our love will be with you every step of the way."

"I walked the 1/2 marathon in 2004 for Team in Training. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I walked in honor of John Schubel and in memory of Aunt Ella Ruth Oglesby! Good luck on reaching your goal!"
