As most that read this are very well aware it has been Lora that has done all the heavy work the last 9 years or so we have been rasing money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Lora has run a 1/2 and a Full Marathon and has finished the Las Vegas Grand Fondo and the Hawaii Grand Fondo and had a Hurricane cancel another and had a major medicla issue cancel her ride this fall. I am in awe every day of her determination to help kick cancers ass.

She is one event away from earning her Triple Crown so we decide that together we would work to help her achieve this testament to her determination. Now before anyone gets all excited I am doing the very easiest hike they had and Lora is going on the long one but hey I am going to give it my all becuase no matter how hard it might be it will never ever be as bad as Chemo, nor 20-30 mph head winds and 100 degrees in vegas on a bike for 113 miles (yeah she did that)

Most that read this will have known most of the back story and as the days go on I'll probably steal from Lora's page more of our story but I want to tell about my friend Steve Osborn who is the good looking guy in the picture with the fat goofy looking dude in red.

Steve passed away from AML 5. He fought through two born marrow transplants and still continued to at least make a few skydives. He was my friend and I miss him. He died from a cancer that if you are under 30 you have an very good chance to beat it but almost no chance if you are over 50. He isnt the only skydiver friend we have lost..

Just last October we lost another good man, no a great man Axel Zohmann. He too died fighting Leukima he was 48 and left behind his amazing wife Yoka and two goregous little girls that now have to grow up without a father. Something my family has had to endure..

My Father passed away from cancer almost 25 years ago and I know so many of you have had many man family members just as we have that have gone way to soon. Aunts and Uncles and fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers... enough is enough!!!
