Racing to Save Lives


Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


I'm training to participate in the inaugural Seattle Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on June 27th, as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I ran the Salt Lake Half Marathon this past Saturday, and it was awesome! I don't have my exact time on me but it was around 2:02:43! (down 33 minutes from my first half marathon record!) I had bronchitis a few weeks ago so I wasn't sure I'd be running it at all, it really put a dent in my training.
