38,000 Strides to Cure Cancer

Hi and welcome to my fundraising page! Thank you so much for your consideration!

On August 25th I will be running 35 miles across 10 cities. It will take me approximately 7 hours and 38,000 steps to make it to my finish line at the Wasatch Running Center where I, with some hard work and good luck have a victory celebration with all of you.

But in order for any of this to be possible I need the help and support of YOU! Each mile I run will neet to be "sold" in order to help me meet my fundraising goal of $3,000 and to help support research to find a cure as well as patient programs.

Becoming a Mile Sponsor:

1. Pick a mile. The price per mile increases with the distance. I will be updating which miles are sold and for how much.

2. Make a donation here on this site for the given amount.

3. E-mail me at coach.beckyblack@gmail.com informing me which mile you bought so that I can update the website and blog.

*Business Sponsors: Suggested donation is $200-300 for any mile. In exchange I will put flyers or coupons into swag bags for friends, family, and other supporters.

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I have a mission-to help find miracles in the form of cures, more effective treatments, funds for patient programs and financial assistance for those suffering with blood cancers.. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in the Nike Women's Marathon as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m taking something that I love dearly, running and using it to help create miracles for others but I need your help in order to raise the $3,000 that will go to help our friends, family, community members and more to fight the fight against cancer and to become the miracle we are praying for.
