Dear Friends,
Welcome to my Team In Training home page! On June 14, 2009, I will be lending my feet to help everyone affected by all types of blood cancers by walking the Lake Placid Half Marathon (13.1 miles!) with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training!
You, too, have a chance to be part of the team by donating to my personal goal of raising $2,500 for The Society!

May 26th: Monday, June 8th is the fundraising deadline for the Lake Placid Half Marathon! Please make your donations today! Thank you so much for your help!
May 17th - Walked my first competitive 5K since running in high school today. I did it in 45:25 - that's less than a 15 minute mile! A new PR for me! Can you donate $45? Or $15?
May 16th - My first 2 digit training walk - 10 miles! Wouldn't it be great if you could take part in my workout and donate $10 to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, founded in 1949, is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. The Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families through research, patient services and advocacy. Team in Training started in 1988 with a small group of people running the New York City Marathon to raise money for research in honor of a young leukemia patient. Since that race, over 340,000 people have raised over $800 million to support blood cancer research and patient services!
