Dear Friends and Family,

It has been five years since I trained for my first marathon with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. During that time, Dominick Pucci IV has gone from an 11 month old baby battling leukemia, to a healthy 6 year old boy! His success in beating such a devastating disease has been due in large part to the money raised by LLS for research and patient services. In the past 20 years LLS has raised over 800 million dollars and with your generous help, I have collected over $22,000!!

After my last marathon, I swore I would never run another one (they are HARD!). Unfortunately, despite the progress we have made towards finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma, we are not finished. One of our local honored patients recently lost her battle with leukemia. She was only 4 years old. I realized that as hard as it is to run 26.2 miles, it is nothing compared to losing a child to cancer. So, I have once again committed to running a marathon. I will be negotiating the streets and lanes of Dublin, Ireland on October 26th.

Now that I have committed my 46 year old legs to another four months of training, I am asking you to help me out. I promise to train hard if you will support my efforts by donating generously. My goal is to raise at least $8000 by August 1st.

Remember, all donations are tax deductible and 75% goes directly to research and patient services.
