Racing to Save Lives
Greetings friends and welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training for the Adirondack Half-Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, but specifically, I'll be fundraising and racing in honor of 5-year old Ethan from Troy, NY who was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia two years ago, and who has been receiving treatments for the last 2 years. If you have someone close to you that is battling or that you've lost to one of these diseases, I'd be honored to race in their name as well, and I'll add their names to my fundraising page also. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
