My Fundraising Page

It is Sunday morning and I am awake at 7:30. Why? It is one of my running rest days, but my body is so used to getting up very early. Yesterday marked our end of our first month of training. Let me tell you, I have never been so tired. I have been getting up in the morning at 5:30 or six and running 2- 3 miles a day. After work and being with the family, I lilterally fall into bed at around 8:45 every night. I can finally see some pounds coming off too!!! The training is going really well!.

I am worried about the fundraising though. I haven't raised as much money as I thought I would by now. I am still counting on you guys to help out!

Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

Doing something of this magnitude has been a personal goal of mine for a long time...

I'm training to participate in the Aramco Houston Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

You can live vicariously through me. Let me get up at the crack of dawn and put in miles, so you don't have to. All I am asking from you is monetary support of the cause. Your funds, combined with the funds of others put us one step closer to finding the cure. The cure that will stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
