This weekend was definately a hard one for me. Instead of running with the team I ran by myself *big sigh*. I finally purchased my running shoes, OMG I can definatly tell the difference in the way I run. Now my body hurts in new places!!!
I appreciate all the support from everyone, if it wasn't for you all I really don't think I could have made it this far!!!! On another note, I still need everyone's help in raising money to ensure that I have a place on race day. If you can donate I would greatly appreciate it!!! GO TEAM IN TRAINING!!!

Last Saturday I attended my first training session, and i felt great afterwards! i didn't think that I would be able to do it. The entire team was supporting each other as we proceeded to run our 3 miles for the day. As we were running I saw more groups training for the same event and they were encouraging us too. Having that type of support is so wonderful! We have all committed ourselves for a great cause to raise money to find a cure for blood cancers, and we will see it through to the end!!!

Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
