Racing to Save Lives
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and welcome to my Team In Training home page.
My Story: My aunt was recently diagnosed with a terminal cancer. The day I received the call was the day I found a TNT flier on my car wind shield. I'm not really one who believes in coincidence so I took it as a sign and made a phone call. Some odd weeks later, I was attending a meeting and signing up. I'm doing this for my aunt and for everyone else who has been diagnosed with any kind of cancer.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In
Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin
lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in
honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are
the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the
ultimate finish line - a cure!
