I've been a runner from age 10 and for the last 25 years Running and Triathlons has helped shape me as a person. I've realized it's time to step up and make running more meaningful.

Lymphoma is a tough desease of which I didn't know much until John Gross,  Product Line Manager colleague at NOV, was diagnosed about a year ago. The desease very quickly progressed from stage 1 to stages 2 when the first round of Chemotherapy started. When that didn't help he progressed on to stage 3 and 4.

John is about to finish his second round of chemo at the time I write this (February 8th) and it's been a rough ride. Every other week he spends two days at MD Anderson http://www.mdanderson.org/patient-and-cancer-information/cancer-information/cancer-types/non-hodgkins-lymphoma/index.html. 6 hours of fast moving chemo. 2 different treatments. I'm greatful the treatment is working and the cancer has retreated. It's scary to listen to the stories of his "colleagues" there. Those who return for new treatment every two years.
